Forest fire rages north of Bolsover

Crews from three municipalities continue to battle a forest fire north of Bolsover. A 23-year-old man from Mississauga is charged with cruelty to an animal after reportedly assaulting a dog on a highway off-ramp in Bowmanville. Beaverton man sentenced to two years in prison for sex crimes against children

A Beaverton man convicted of sexually assaulting three children will be spending the next two years in prison barring an early release. Dennis Coles was sentenced in Oshawa court Tuesday (June 26), with the two-year term coming in addition to time spent in custody pending trial.
