Beaverton Fall Fair embraces Homegrown, Handmade and Farm Fresh

It has been 165 years since the first Beaverton Fall Fair and the annual event returns once again in less than two weeks. On Sept. 14 and 15, the Beaverton Agricultural Society presents the 165th annual Beaverton Fall Fair, with the theme of “Homegrown, Handmade and Farm Fresh”. Durham Region contributes up to $225,000 to help build new home for Brock CHC

A permanent facility for the Brock Community Health Centre has moved one step closer to reality after a sizable donation from Durham Region.

In a press release, CHC officials said they were please to recognize financial contribution from the Region, which will cover 25 per cent of the community component of the capital project up to a maximum of $225,000.
