Durham Region contributes up to $225,000 to help build new home for Brock CHC

A permanent facility for the Brock Community Health Centre has moved one step closer to reality after a sizable donation from Durham Region.

In a press release, CHC officials said they were please to recognize financial contribution from the Region, which will cover 25 per cent of the community component of the capital project up to a maximum of $225,000.

Arts group seeking grant to start restoration of second floor of the Cannington Town Hall

Outer City Arts is looking for Brock Township’s help to jumpstart its plan to renovate the upper floor of the Cannington Town Hall.

In a letter to council that will be discussed at Monday’s (June 4) parks and recreation committee meeting, the group requests municipal support in applying for a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation this summer.

Brock invited to Walk for Dog Guides

Residents of Brock are invited to participate in two upcoming walks in support of Dog Guides Canada. The Beaverton Walk for Dog Guides is set for Sunday (May 27) at the Beaverton Fairgrounds.
