
Police are searching for a suspect after a man armed with a knife broke into a Beaverton home early Monday (Oct. 2) morning.
According to police, officers were called to a home in the area of Church Street and Osborne Street around 2:45 a.m.c
Police say the elderly female resident awoke to male armed with a knife in her home.
“The male stole numerous items from the home as well as the victim’s vehicle,” reads a media release.
The stolen vehicle is described as a 2006 teal/green Pontiac Torrent with Ontario licence plate CRPB 471.
The suspect is described as white, 20-30 years old, tall with a small moustache and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
“The victim did not sustain any physical injuries,” the press release noted.
