Officers continue to investigate a fatal collision in Brock Township earlier this month.
According to the OPP, a passenger vehicle was travelling south on Highway 12, just north of Highway 48, around 7:15 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9.
“The passenger vehicle entered the northbound lane and struck a pickup truck head on that was travelling northbound,” reads a media release.
Both vehicles were consumed by fire, police said.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 60-year-old driver and a 57-year-old passenger of the pickup truck were taken to a Toronto area trauma centre with serious life-threatening injuries.
“The OPP are working together with the Centre of Forensic Sciences to confirm the identity of the driver of the passenger vehicle,” the media release reads.
“The presumed next of kin have been notified and are aware of the incident.”
