
A Port Perry resident is facing a pair of charges following a police investigation into alleged drug trafficking.
According to the DRPS, the suspect was taken into custody shortly after 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday (Jan. 17).
“A warrant was executed at a residence in Port Perry, resulting in the seizure of a quantity of cocaine, Percocet, and Canadian currency, with an estimated combined value over $12,000,” reads a media release from police.
Nicholas Ostafichuk, 41, of Scugog has been charged with two counts of possession of Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine and Percocet).
He was released on an undertaking.
