A 15-year-old from the Scugog area has been charged after online threats were made towards Uxbridge Secondary School.
According to the DRPS, officers were made aware of the threat, which was to take place at a later date and time, on Monday (Jan. 2).
“A thorough investigation was completed, and investigators have identified and charged a male responsible for the threat,” reads a media release.
The teen, who cannot be identified, has been charged with uttering threats and was held for a bail hearing.
‘Police would like to remind the public that threats to schools are taken very seriously,” the media release reads.
