
A suspect has been charged in relation to historical sexual assaults that allegedly occurred in Georgina.
According to the York Regional Police, two female victims came forward in October of 2022 regarding alleged incidents.
“Officers learned that the accused resided in East Gwillimbury and Georgina when the assaults took place,” a media release reads.
A suspect was arrested last Wednesday (Dec. 7).
The accused was arrested on Wednesday December 7, 2022, and has been charged in connection with both incidents.
Gregory Wallace, 59, of Coldwater has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and sexual interference –person under 14.
“Investigators are releasing his photo and are urging any additional victims or witnesses to come forward,” the media release reads.

“A sexual assault includes any non-consensual contact of a sexual nature. York Regional Police encourages victims to report incidents of sexual assault, including historical offences. There is no statute of limitations for sexual offences and offenders can be prosecuted well after the date of the offence,” the media release reads.
