
A Beaverton man is facing charges after allegedly exposing himself to a group of youths in Oshawa.
According to the DRPS, the incident occurred around 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7. Police say a group of young females were outside near Wecker Drive and Madawaska Avenue when a male in a black sedan pulled up beside them and committed an indecent act.
“The young girls ran away and told a neighbour,” reads a media release.
“The police were notified after the incident occurred and have been able to locate and charge the accused. Investigators want to ensure there are no other victims.”
Matthew Rooney-Forgues, 29, has been charged with six counts of indecent exposure to a person under 16. He was release on an undertaking.
