
A Woodville resident is facing impaired driving charges following a traffic stop in Lindsay.
According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, an officer stopped a vehicle travelling on Russell Street West in Lindsay around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 28).
“While speaking with the driver, the officer observed signs of impairment. The driver was given an approved roadside screening device test and failed,” reads a media release.
“The driver was placed under arrest for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.”
Scott McKeown, 30, has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus.
He is scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on Nov. 3.
