
One person has been rushed to hospital following a rescue on Lake Simcoe Thursday (Aug. 18) afternoon.
According to the OPP, officers were called to the area of Bonnie Beach in Ramara Township shortly before 4 p.m. following a report of a Seadoo in distress.
Police say one of the two occupants aboard the vessel was rescued by members of the public.
The other was was located and retrieved from the water with assistance from the Ramara Fire Department and the OPP helicopter.
They were transported to hospital in unknown condition.
