
A Ramara resident is facing charges following a traffic stop in Orillia over the weekend.
According to the OPP, officers pulled a vehicle over on Colborne Street shortly after 11 p.m. on Friday (Aug. 12) night.
“Police further received a traffic complaint for the same vehicle while police were conducting the traffic stop,” reads a media release.
Carley Craig, 33, has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
They were released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in Orillia court on Sept. 6.
“Their vehicle was impounded for 7 days and issued an Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension for 90 days,” the media release reads.
