
Two teenagers have been charged after a stabbing in Oshawa over the weekend.
According to the DRPS, officers were called to the area of Simcoe Street South and John Street for an armed person call shortly before 2:30 p.m. Sunday (May 22).
“A 46-year-old male was located with stab wounds. He was taken to a Toronto-area trauma hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries,” reads a media release.
“The suspects fled the area; however, they were located and arrested a short distance away by police.”
A 15-year-old boy from Lindsey and a 16-year-old boy from Oshawa have each been charged with aggravated assault and robbery.
“They were both held for a bail hearing,” the media release reads.
“The investigation is ongoing and police are seeking surveillance footage from the area.”
