

Investigators have confirmed the identity of the human remains found in Uxbridge last week.
According to the DRPS, the body of 32-year-old Ariel Kaplan of Toronto was found in the area of Uxbridge Concession Road 6 and Allbright Road last Tuesday (May 10).
“The victim had been reported missing to the Toronto Police Service in August 2021,” reads a media release from police.
“A home owner in the Uxbridge area located a bag floating in a pond and contacted police. The bag contained the body of the deceased.”
The investigation is ongoing, with the DRPS Homicide Unit working in conjunction with the Toronto Police Service.
Anyone who spoke with or saw Kaplan prior to his disappearance in August 2021 is asked to contact police.
