Durham Region has sent out a notice to residents regarding lane restrictions on Lake Ridge Road (Regional Road 23) in Brock Township.

A road rehabilitation project is slated to get underway Monday (April 25) from north of Sunderland Road (Regional Road 10) to south of Concession 7.

The project is slated to run until June 24, though unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

“The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible,” the notice reads.

“Drivers are asked to exercise additional caution for pedestrian, cyclist, and construction worker safety.”
