
One person suffered life-threatening injuries following a disturbance involving a firearm at a rural property in Eldon Township.
According to the OPP, officers were called around 8:45 p.m. and located a person on the property suffering from life-threatening injuries.
“The victim was transported to a Toronto trauma centre,” reads a media release from police.
The investigation is ongoing.
“There is no threat to public safety at this time, however police ask that the public avoid the area while the investigation continues,” the media release reads.
“Residents can expect to see an increase in police presence over the next few days and updates will be provided when available.”
