
A Kinburn resident has been charged with impaired driving following a traffic stop in Lindsay.
According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, an officer stopped a vehicle travelling on Lindsay Street South shortly before 12:15 a.m. on Thursday (April 7).
“While speaking with the driver, the officer observed signs of impairment,” reads a media release.
“As a result of an investigation, the officer determined the driver was impaired by alcohol and placed him under arrest.”
Kelly Bean, 20, of Kinburn has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on May 12.
