School buses have been cancelled Wednesday (March 30) for students in Kawartha Lakes.
According to a social media post from the Trillium Lakelands District School Board, the decision was made due to a forecast of freezing rain throughout the day.
“Parents/guardians are responsible for transportation of their student(s) who choose to attend school on inclement weather days. Drop-off and pick-up must occur in alignment with the regular school day start and end times.
“Students who remain at home on inclement weather days can access existing information on their online classroom.”
Buses have also been cancelled for the Simcoe County District School Board but are running in both Durham and York.
