
Police are searching for witnesses after a vehicle left the scene of a collision in Uxbridge that caused serious injuries to a cyclist.
According to the DRPS, paramedics were called the collision scene on Sandford Road, 300 metres west of Concession Road 3, around 6 a.m. Saturday (March 26).
“The cyclist was taken to a local hospital and later transferred to a Toronto trauma centre and remains in critical condition,” reads a media release.
Police were notified and the collision is under investigation.
“The vehicle involved would have sustained damage to the front/passenger side,” the media release notes.
