Police allegedly seize weapons, Fentanyl following search of Lindsay home

Three people are facing charges after police allegedly seized guns and drugs during a search of a Lindsay home.

According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers executed a search warrant at a residence on St Paul Street in Lindsay Thursday (March 24).

Police reportedly seized a revolver that had been reported stolen in Durham Region, a shotgun, three replica firearms, a set of brass knuckles and a quantity of purple Fentanyl.

Three people — Tessa Geraghty, 23, of Lindsay, Andre Francis of Bowmanville and Ruby Carlton-Neal, 24, of Lindsay — have each been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose; possession of prohibited device or ammunition for a dangerous purpose; unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm; unauthorized possession of a weapon; possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm; breach of firearms regulation – store firearm or restricted firearm; possession of property obtained by crime; and possession of a Schedule I substance

Geraghty has also been charged with failure to comply with probation order. while Francis has been charged with failure to comply with release order and possession of property obtained by crime.

All three were held for a bail hearing.
