School buses have been cancelled in Kawartha Lakes Wednesday (March 23).
According to a social media post from the Trillium Lakelands District School Board, the decision was made due to the forecast for freezing rain and the possibility that road conditions would deteriorate throughout the day.
“Parents/guardians will be responsible for transportation of their students who choose to attend school on inclement weather days,” the post reads.
“Students who remain at home on inclement weather days can access existing information on their online classroom.”
Buses are also cancelled for the Simcoe County District School Board and York Region District School Board but are running in Durham.
