An Orillia man is facing impaired driving charges following a single-vehicle collision Saturday (March 12).

According to the OPP, officers were called around 9:30 p.m. after a vehicle struck a tree on Memorial Avenue.

Nathan Burke, 23, has been charged with operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol and operation of a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 milligrams.

The accused is scheduled to appear in Orillia court on April 5.
