One suspect arrested, another sought following Lindsay shooting
One victim has been taken to hospital following a shooting in Lindsay Friday (March 11) morning.
According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers received reports of multiple gunshots from a residence in the area of Peel Street and Albert Street around 11:15 a.m.
One male victim was located with gunshot wounds and transported to hospital.
“Police believe this to be an isolated incident with no danger to the public,” the media release reads.
“More information to come as the investigation proceeds.”
Six schools in the area were placed in a hold and secure.
