School buses have been cancelled in Kawartha Lakes Monday (March 7).
A social media post from the Trillium Lakelands District School Board notes that the decision was made due to current road conditions and the forecast for inclement weather throughout the day
“Schools within the affected area remain open for learning. Parents/guardians will be responsible for transportation of their students who choose to attend school on inclement weather days. Drop-off and pick-up must occur in alignment with the regular school day start and end times,” the post reads.
“Students who remain at home on inclement weather days can access existing information on their online classroom.”
Buses are running in Durham though roughly two dozen routes were delayed as of 7:15 a.m.
