The Ministry of Labour is investigating after a man was injured following a workplace accident in Lindsay.

According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, emergency personnel were called to an address on Kent Street West shortly before 11 a.m. Wednesday (March 2)

“A 72-year-old male was transported to hospital with unknown injuries after falling into an open pit,” reads a media release from police.

“The Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development was notified of the incident and will continue the investigation.”
