Janetville resident charged following multi-vehicle collision

A Janetvillle resident has been charged following a multi-vehicle collision in Kawartha Lakes over the weekend.

According to the OPP, officers were called shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Saturday (Feb. 20).

“Through the officer’s investigation a demand was given for a breath sample,” reads a media release.

“The driver refused to comply and as a result was arrested and charged.”

Joel Reynolds, 63, has been charged with failure or refusal to comply with demand.

“The accused also had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days, vehicle impounded for seven days, and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on March 24,” reads a media release.
