Update: According to Brock Township Fire Chief Rick Harrison, it appears as though the incident started in a vehicle parked close to the residence. No injuries have been reported. “Crews still on location performing overhaul,” Chief Harrison said shortly after 12:30 p.m.

Crews are responding to a house fire on Hillside Crescent in Cannington Friday (Feb. 18).

While few details are available, residents have reported that the fire broke out shortly after 11 a.m. and multiple trucks have responded.

It appears as though all occupants escaped without injury.
