Nearly three dozen Brock Township firefighters responded to a barn fire south of Sunderland Monday (Feb. 14) morning.
According to Brock Township Fire Chief Rick Harrison, firefighters were called to the property on Concession 4 Brock around 5:10 a.m. and arrived to find it fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters from all three Township halls responded to the blaze and eventually cleared the scene around 11 a.m.
“Firefighters did an excellent job under extreme cold conditions,” said Chief Harrison.
“No injuries were reported.”
Sadly, some of the animals housed in the barn perished in the fire, Chief Harrison noted.
