
An Omemee motorist has been charged with stunt driving after being stopped with police in Peterborough County early Monday (Feb. 14).
According to the OPP, officers conducting radar patrol on Selwyn Road clocked a vehicle travelling 90 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone around 12:30 a.m.
The 26-year-old driver has been charged with stunt driving.
“The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 30 days and vehicle impounded for 14 days,” a media release reads.
They are scheduled to appear in Peterborough court on April 11.
