Township council is hosting a pair of meetings next week to pare down the 2022 budget.

The sessions slated for Monday (Feb. 7) and Thursday (Feb. 10) include presentations from department heads and overviews of the capital and operating budgets.

Members of council will also be asked to consider new initiatives for the municipality and a handful of staffing requests, including a communications/tourism co-ordinator, a financial analyst and information technology manager.

Both of the meetings are slated to get underway at 10 a.m. and will be livestreamed.
