Suspect pulls knife during robbery at Lindsay business

Two suspects, including one armed with a knife, are sought following a robbery at a Lindsay business over the weekend.

According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers were called to the Lindsay Street South store shortly after 11:30 on Saturday (Jan. 22) after two males entered the store and began grabbing merchandise.

“When asked to leave by store staff, one of the males presented a knife. The two suspects then left the store with stolen merchandise. They fled on foot, heading northbound on Lindsay Street South,” reads a media release.

The first suspect is described as white, around 6’2” in height with a medium build. He was wearing a surgical style mask over his face, a blue touque and was carrying a dark-coloured cloth shopping bag.

The second suspect is described as white, around 5’9” in height with a thin build. He was wearing a surgical style mask over his face and carrying a dark-coloured cloth shopping bag.
