Suspects sought following home invasion in Lindsay

Police are searching for four suspects following a home invasion robbery in Lindsay Tuesday (Jan. 11) night.

According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers were called to a Colborne Street apartment building around 8 p.m. following a report that two people were fighting in the hallway.

“Police attended and learned that four individuals forced their way into an apartment, one brandishing a pocket knife,” reads a media release.

“After a confrontation with occupants, the individuals stole items and fled the area in a white Honda Civic. Police gathered physical evidence from the scene and are reviewing video surveillance as part of this ongoing investigation.”

One occupant of the apartment was treated for minor injuries sustained during this incident.

“Police do not believe this to be a random act,” the media release reads.

Police have released descriptions of each suspect.

Suspect 1 — black toque with white writing on front; camo scarf type mask; red ‘Crooks’ hoodie, black Nike sweatpants and black sneakers.

Suspect 2 — black balaclava; red hoodie; black puffy winter coat; red sweatpants and black sneakers with white soles.

Suspect 3 — black ‘FILA’ hoodie; red shirt underneath possibly (or trim of hoodie); black pants; black sneakers; mask over face and a grey or dark toque.

Suspect 4 — red hoodie; red sweatpants; black sneakers with white soles; black gloves with white on knuckles and believed to have mask covering face.
