Police are searching for a suspect after a 10-year-old boy reported a sexual assault at a ski resort in Georgina.

According to the York Regional Police, officers were called to the resort shortly after 1 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 9)

“Officers learned that a 10-year-old boy had gone into the public washroom and an adult male had touched him. Officers were unable to locate the suspect,” reads a media release.

“Investigators are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who can identify the suspect to come forward.”

The suspect is described as white, approximately 30 years of age and 5’11” in height with a thin build. He was wearing a black face mask and black hoodie at the time.
