A Lindsay motorist is facing charges following a collision in Kawartha Lakes.

According to the OPP, officers on patrol patrol came across a minor two vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 7 and 35 around 3 p.m. on Dec. 31.

“A Standardized Field Sobriety Test was conducted, along with a Drug Recognition Expert Evaluation upon one of the drivers,” reads a media release.

Kenneth Orr, 45, has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs and careless driving.

They are scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on Jan. 20.
