A motorist has been charged after police received a tip about a suspected impaired driver in Lindsay.

According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers received the report around 6:45 p.m. on Jan. 1 and located the vehicle on Riverside Drive.

Larry Greves, 69, of the former Ops Township has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle – alcohol and drugs.

They are scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on Feb. 10.
