
Two people are facing charges following a reported break-in and assault in Lindsay.
According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers received a call for unwanted people in the victim’s apartment around 8 a.m. on Dec. 17.
“Police learned that two parties had forced their way into the victim’s residence, threatened the victim with a knife by holding it to the victim’s throat and face and then cutting hair extensions from the victim’s head,” reads a media release.
“The victim was able to get away and contact police and only minor injuries were reported.”
Matthew Wayne Taylor, 39, of Lindsay has been charged with break and enter, assault with a weapon, uttering threats and possession of a weapon.
Tiffany Frocking, 33, has been charged with break and enter and assault.
