
Four people were rushed to hospital — including one with life-threatening injuries — following a collision on Highway 7 in Kawartha Lakes Monday (Dec. 20) morning.
According to the OPP, the collision occurred around 9 a.m. west of Omemee.
“Three passenger vehicles and a commercial motor vehicle were involved in the collision,” reads a media release from the OPP.
“Three victims have been transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and one victim has been transported to a Toronto area hospital with life-threatening injuries.”
The highway remains closed between Heights Road and Mount Horeb Road.
