Investigators remain at the scene of a fire in Cambray that claimed the life of a 62-year-old man early Thursday (Dec. 9) morning.

According to the OPP, emergency personnel were called to a structure fire at a trailer park in Cambray around 1:15 a.m.

“One person was located at the scene and transported by EMS to a local hospital where they were later pronounced deceased,” reads a media release.

The victim has been identified as Andre Beaucage of Cambray.

“The cause of death remains under investigation pending a post-mortem examination,” the media release reads.

“The OPP remains on scene as the investigation continues with the assistance of the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal and the Office of the Chief Coroner.”
