With the holiday season underway, the delivery of parcels and gifts can be a tempting target for thieves.

Community Services Officer Jason Cannon of the Peterborough Police Service offers residents a few tips on how to avoid being victimized by porch pirates.

– Keep porch lights on;

– Use delivery notification options;

– Ask a neighbour to keep an eye out for you; and,

– Report any suspicious activity.
