
Police are investigating after a pick-up truck was stolen from the driveway of a home in Kawartha Lakes over the weekend.
According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, a Peace Road resident started their vehicle shortly after 9:30 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 20) and went back inside.
“When they came back outside several minutes later the vehicle was gone,” reads a media release.
The vehicle is described as a black 2020 Ford F-150 with a regular cab and Ontario licence plate BA38991.
“Inside the vehicle, also stolen was a wallet with contents, two Stihl chainsaws and a crossbow,” reads the media release.
