One person is dead following a collision on Highway 115 in Peterborough County Monday (Nov. 22) morning.
According to the OPP, the collision occurred at approximately 5 a.m. this morning on the southbound lanes of Highway 115 near Porter Road.
“One victim has been pronounced deceased as a result of the collision that involved multiple vehicles,” reads a media release.
“The cause of the collision remains under investigation. All lanes of Highway 115 remain closed while members trained in collision reconstruction measure and document the scene.”
The highway is expected to be closed for several hours for the police investigation.
The northbound lanes are closed at Porter Road and the southbound lanes are closed at Tapley ¼ Line, police noted.
