
Santa Claus is on his way to Brock Township.
His first stop will come in Beaverton on Friday (Nov. 19) night for the village’s annual Santa Claus parade.
It gets underway at 7 p.m. from the fairgrounds and will travel down Main, Simcoe, Osborne and Bay streets before heading back down Main en route to the fairgrounds. Those taking part in the parade should arrive no later than 6:15 p.m.
Many downtown merchants will be taking part in an a holiday open house from 6 to 9 p.m. and the Beaverton Lions Club will be firing up the holiday lights at Alexander Muir Park as well.

The parade in Cannington is scheduled for Nov. 27 at 11 a.m., while Santa will be making a stop in Sunderland on Dec. 11 at 7 p.m.
