Driver facing charges following single-vehicle collision in Kawartha Lakes

A Nestleton resident has been charged following a single-vehicle collision in Kawartha Lakes over the weekend.

According to the OPP, officers were called to a single motor vehicle collision on St Alban Road, in the former Manvers Township, around 9:15 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 15).

“Officers attended and their investigation determined the uninjured driver to be impaired by alcohol,” reads a media release.

Jeffery Minshall, 42, has been charged with operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration-80 plus.

He is scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on Nov. 25.

“The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days,” a media release reads.
