
Two people are facing charges after a vehicle and firearm were reportedly stolen in Lindsay.
According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers were called to property on Crestwood Avenue shortly after 3:30 a.m. Monday (Oct. 11).
“With the public’s assistance the vehicle and firearm have been recovered. Two parties have been arrested in relation to the incident,” reads a media release.
Jason Medina-Hanusiak, 32, of Fenelon Falls has been charged with possession of firearm contrary to prohibition order, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, mischief over $5,000 and breach of probation.
Justin Simpson of Lindsay, 38, has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 and mischief over $5,000 is 38-year-old Justin Simpson of Lindsay.
They are scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on Nov. 18.
