An Oshawa man has been charged following an alleged assault in Lindsay.
According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers were called to a business on Highway 35 South around 6:45 a.m. Tuesday (Oct. 12).
“Police were called to assist after one male attacked another, inside the business causing injuries requiring medical attention,” reads a media release.
“Through investigation it was learned, the males are known to each other.”
While police say the accused fled the scene, he was located nearby and placed under arrest.
Austin Abderrahman, 25, of Oshawa has been charged with assault.
He is slated to appear in Lindsay court on Nov. 18.
