Police in Kawartha Lakes are investigating a death in the area of Fenelon Falls.

While few details have been released, Central Region OPP stated Wednesday (Oct. 6) evening that officers were investigating a death in what was formerly known as Fenelon Township.

There is no threat to public safety, according to police.
