A 19-year-old from Cannington has been charged after a fatal collision on Simcoe Street last November.

On Nov. 22, 2020, emergency crews responded to a collision on Simcoe Street south of Thorah Concession Road 1.

The two-vehicle collision resulted in the death of the passenger of the northbound vehicle, according to police. He has been identified as 18-year-old Richard Harris of Brock Township.

Kawartha Lakes OPP say the driver of the same vehicle has now been charged.

Landon Robbins, 19, of Cannington is charged with impaired operation causing death, according to police.

The accused is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 7.
