
A call from a concerned resident has led to impaired driving charges for an Oshawa motorist.
According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers fielded a complaint about a possible impaired driver shortly after 8 p.m. on Tuesday (Sept. 28).
“The vehicle was observed travelling northbound on Highway 36 before proceeding into Lindsay. Officers attended the area and located the vehicle parked on St. Patrick Street,” reads a media release.
“When speaking with the driver, officers noticed signs of impairment.”
Jennifer Graham, 47, has been charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) and operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs.
They are scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on Nov. 4.
