A 15-year-old girl has been charged following a stabbing in Oshawa earlier this month.
According to the DRPS, officers were called to the area of Glen Street and Medina Court around 6:15 p.m. on Sept. 19 and located a 15-year-old victim who had been stabbed.
“The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The female suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival,” reads a media release.
Police say the suspect was located Saturday (Sept. 25) and allegedly assaulted officers during the arrest.
She has been charged with assault with a weapon, weapons dangerous intent, carry concealed weapon and assault with intent to resist arrest.
She was released on an undertaking.
