An Alberta man has been charged after reportedly ditching a vehicle in Beaverton over the weekend.
According to a social media post from the DRPS, officers were dispatched to the area of Regional Road 23 and Thorah Park Boulevard around 9:30 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 25) for a suspected impaired driver.
“Officers attended the scene and located the driver in the vehicle, who was showing signs of impairment” the post reads.
“The driver was brought to North Division to provide breath samples.”
The 38-year-old man, whose name has not been released, has been charged with impaired operation.
“His vehicle was impounded and his license suspended for 90 days,” the post reads.
“There were no injuries.”
